How Did Rick Grimes Find Alexandria?

How Did Rick Grimes Find Alexandria?

I'll keep this blog post short and sweet, in that I have found a great blog discussing the Rick Grimes Interview with Alexandria on MichonneandRick.com, and wanted to take a second to discuss why I feel that both this blog post, and the scene on The Walking Dead, both capture the magnitude of this scene. Up to this point, the group has basically been living in utter despair. Some of their best moments have been on the road, and that is really saying something given how difficult living like this is portrayed to be within the show. On top of this, every single camp that they have run across, Terminus, Woodbury, etc. have all turned out to be duds, filled with violent people that just want to take from others.

Finally they find a good one with Alexandria, but they are highly skeptical as they should be. A member of the group Alexandria, Aaron (see picture below) meets the group in the barn and offers them a chance to interview for the camp.

From here, Aaron spends the next several hours trying to convince Rick and his group to go with them. They eventually do, and after some bad decisions along the way, leading to violence between the group and Walkers. They all push through this, and eventually come out the other side to find out that Alexandria really is a safe haven.
